Kathy Gause is an educator, community college teacher, and career coach. As a graduate of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certification Program, she is a certified Professional Level coach with the International Coach Federation. She holds a Master in Public Administration from George Mason University, a Master of Business Administration from St. Leo University, a Bachelor of Science from Rider University and is a PhD candidate in International Studies at Old Dominion University with focus on China and Senegal.
Kathy has many years experience in Public Administration as a program manager and executive in Human Resources and Civil Rights. Kathy has worked as a leader in Federal Agencies such as Department of the Navy, the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Hill, and NASA as well as serving as a Senior Executive with USDA Forest Service. She began her career as a Clerk-Typist.
She is the Principal of Sandbridge Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in consulting, coaching, and educational design and presentation. She is a Business Associate Professor at Tidewater Community College and was awarded Adjunct of the Year 2014/5.
Kathy has an extensive background in leadership development, team effectiveness, supervision and mentoring, diversity and global culture issues, and particularly, organizations and employees in transition or major change.
Kathy is a member of Norfolk Sister Cities organization as well as the Sandbridge Beach Business Association. She has a supportive spouse, three adult children and one grandson. She resides in Virginia Beach.
