MeGreetings, I have been an instructor of History at Tidewater Community College since 2006.I have taught U.S. History I and II, Life in Colonial Virginia, World Civilization and Western Civilization.  Before I came to Virginia Beach, I worked in several history related occupations including a stint as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service, a visitor services coordinator at the National Museum of American History of the Smithsonian Institution, and as a Historic Interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg. I have also worked at several smaller museums in a variety of capacities. I have a M.A. degree from George Mason University, a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia at Wise, and an A.A.S. from Mountain Empire Community College in my hometown of Big Stone Gap, VA.
